The Scottish and UK governments must set out their policies for the future of Scottish pensions before the independence referendum next year to allow voters to make an informed decision, according to experts.
I refer to the latest report by the House of Commons Select Committee on Scottish Affairs on the future of Scottish shipyards ("Nationalists hit back at claims Scots shipyards will die with independence", The Herald, January 21).
Like Tessa Ransford, I watch Scottish Questions at Westminster and am similarly dismayed at the contemptuous attitudes towards the Scottish National Party MPs (Letters, January 21).
