True to the title of this sombre, Belgium-set drama, the Lorna at its heart is a taciturn sort. Only recently given permission to stay, the Albanian immigrant is engaged in an underhand scheme to help another get a passport - for a price. Deliberately gloomy and downbeat, it's distinguished by a captivating performance by Arta Dobroshi as the girl who wants to live a decent, ordinary life but is frustrated at every turn.
Belmont, Aberdeen, from tomorrow. Eden Court, Inverness, and Glasgow Film Theatre, from January 9.
