Hillwalker in 400ft mountain plunge

A hillwalker who fell 400 feet from a mountain ridge in the Highlands is in hospital.

The man fell from Forcan Ridge in Glenshiel, and was airlifted to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness where his condition is unknown.

He was rescued after police co-ordinated a team with assistance from Skye Mountain Rescue Team, Kintail Mountain Rescue Team and the Coastguard helicopter Rescue 100.
