The filmmaker who lit a flame under the fast food industry turns his camera on the war on terror. Inspired by the birth of his first child (and the need to provide a little cinematic brother or sister to Super Size Me), Spurlock heads to the Middle East to ask various bods the question in the film's title. The idea gets old quickly, the treatment of the subject is mild and often trite, but the affable Spurlock manages to get a few goodies along the way. His attempt to have a conversation with two Saudi students while minders hover nearby, eventually pulling the plug on the interview, says everything about the state of freedom in the kingdom.
