Whiteboards plan in bid to boost children's literacy

Every primary one pupil in North Lanarkshire is to be given a whiteboard and magnetic letters as part of a drive to improve literacy. The move, part of a council project called Active Literacy, will help children learn the sounds of groups of letters.
