New Honda Civic 1.6 Diesel has everything you need and want!

COMMERCIAL FEATURE: UK car sales reached a four-year high with new car registrations rising by 5.3% in 2012 – the highest level since 2008.

Great news for consumers as manufacturers’ offers and incentives have never been better.  This is especially true for Honda, as they launch a brand new, undefeatable 1.6 i-DTEC diesel engine in both performance and economy.  Together with their competitive offers, Honda has entered 2013 with confidence.

Honda introduces not only the compact, spacious and economical Civic, but also the quick, powerful and sporty Civic.

The quicker, sportier driving experience of the new Civic 1.6i-DTEC diesel is partly thanks to a lighter engine with reduced friction and cleaner running, this means lower fuel consumption and lower emissions.  In fact, the 1.6 i-DTEC diesel produces just 94g/km CO2.  You won’t find a more powerful car (120PS) with lower emissions in its class!

Inside, the Civic looks smart and exudes intelligence.  The sculpted lines and dash give the interior a refined look and feel.  Advanced technology and driving systems make the drive easier, safer and more enjoyable.  For example, the innovative i-MID system allows you to interact easily with information like fuel consumption and your music choice.

So you ask, power or fuel efficiency?  How about both!  The Civic is engineered to be powerful, it combines this competitive power with class-leading torque to create a thrilling drive.  This diesel engine gives excellent fuel economy of 78.5mpg so you spend less time at the pump and more time on the move.

Plus, you can get even more miles for your money with the shift indicator which tells you when to change gear to save on fuel.

What makes the 1.6 i-DTEC diesel so special? Well, Honda doesn’t design new diesel engines that often, but when they do, they make some of the best.

Honda insiders are describing it as their most important engine in a decade and say it will soon be powering a quarter of all the cars they sell in the UK.  This means the new Civic 1.6 diesel is now up against the 1.6 diesel-powered versions of the Volkswagen Golf and the SEAT Leon.  It certainly has the numbers to give the Golf and Leon a run for their money.

Henrys Honda, Glasgow say, “Come in and explore the car for youself, write your own review and receive a £15 M&S gift voucher as our way of saying thanks”.
