Star Trek director JJ Abrams with Kate McGrath
As the world went Star Trek mad - again - with the release of Into Darkness, the second instalment to be directed by JJ Abrams, the stars shone at the film's LA premiere.
Among those enjoying the limelight was Zoe Saldana, who wore a stunning gold evening gown, and Brit Kate Beckinsale, who looked gorgeous in a little black dress.
That said, the blokes - such as the film's male lead Chris Pine - didn't look too shabby either.
