SCOTT IAN ALEXANDER (formerly of Sandyhills and Clarkston). Peacefully, at home on Sunday, 7th October, 2018, aged 91 years, Ian, adored and much loved husband of the late May, dear brother of Kenneth and brother-in-law of Yvonne, uncle and friend of Bill, Pat and family. A Service of Thanksgiving for his life will be held at Davidson's Mains Parish Church, Quality Street, Edinburgh at 12.45pm on Thursday, 18th October and thereafter at Warriston Crematorium (Lorimer Chapel), Edinburgh, at 2pm, to which all friends are invited. Family flowers only please, but there will be a retiring collection at the church in aid of Scottish War Blinded. Grateful thanks to Margaret Quinn and her dedicated team of carers for their kindness, care and compassion.
