Esther O'Neil

O'NEIL Esther (nee Caddle) originally of Glenboig Surrounded by love, at home with her devoted husband Bill and five loving daughters, Strathaven on Sunday, 2nd December 2018, aged seventy-two years. Dearly loved granny to her eleven grandchildren, Esther will be much missed by her sisters, brother and many dear friends. The family cannot put into words their gratitude for the care and attention provided for Esther during her illness: the Avondale medical team, staff at Hairmyres Hospital and Boots Pharmacy, the Carer Teams and all those recently involved in Esther's outstanding care. Funeral service, to which all friends are respectfully invited, at St Patrick's R.C. Church, Strathaven at 9.30am on Saturday, 8th December. Thereafter interment at Strathaven Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to Kilbryde Hospice on retiral from church.

Esther was such a lovely person. We were in the same primary school classes, high school classes, and Notre Dame College classes. She was hard working and very principled. We were all disappointed that she could not attend our 50th Reunion and have prayed for her ever since. My condolences to you, Bill, the great love of her life , and to Anne, who shared in our primary classes.
