GRANT Catherine Doreen Passed away peacefully at the age of 102 years, on Wednesday 24th April 2019, at Kincarrathie House, Perth. She was born on 5th March 1917 in Glasgow and was the youngest of three sisters. She moved to Perth in 1961 with her husband and daughter. She was a teacher at St Columba's R.C. School until her retirement in 1977. She was predeceased by her husband of 35 years John Patrick Grant who died at the age of seventy on 1st May 1985. She is survived by her daughter Rosemary, her son-in-law William Lindsay Davidson, her grandchildren Katie Elizabeth Davidson and Jamie Alexander Davidson all of the USA. She lived a very fulfilled life and enjoyed travelling, gardening, reading and the company of her many friends. She retained her dry wit and sense of humour until the end. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday 1st May at 1pm at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Struan Road, Letham, Perth, followed by interment at Wellshill Cemetery in Perth. A reception for her family and friends is to follow at Murrayshall Hotel, Perth.
