YOUNG ALASTAIR DUNCAN. 07/06/1948 to 06/07/2019. Peacefully, in Ward 2, St Andrews Community Hospital, Alastair, beloved husband of Janette, father of Stuart, father-in-law of Andrea and adored and adoring grandad of Lennix. Loving brother to Margaret, David, Jimmy and the late Robin. Formerly of Strathclyde Regional Council, Alastair was appointed as the first Director of Roads (later Land Services) in 1995 and served until his retirement in 2003. Funeral service at Daldowie Crematorium, Hamilton Road, Uddingston at 9.45am on Tuesday, 16th July, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only but donations, if so desired, may be given in aid of Ward 2, St Andrews Community Hospital on leaving the service.
