Rebecca (Becky) nee Laidlaw Punton

PUNTON REBECCA (BECKY) nee LAIDLAW, passed away on Sunday, 6th October, 2019, in Cornhill Macmillan Centre, Perth. Becky, aged 28 years, devoted wife of Alasdair, much loved daughter of Simon and Cathy, loving sister of Robbie, dearest daughter-in-law, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend. At peace following her battle with cancer so bravely fought. We will all miss her beautiful smile. A private interment will take place. A Service of Thanksgiving will be held on Monday, 14th October at 2pm at Perth Baptist Church, Almond View, Perth. At Becky's request, if possible, please wear something bright and cheerful. Family flowers only, donations will be accepted for Sarcoma UK and Cornhill Macmillan Unit.

Im so very sorry to hear about Rebecca's passing. I feel so fortunate to have shared some lovely memories with Rebecca and got to know her a bit better when we both engaged with working in Africa. I invited her to speak to our students in Inverness college University of the Highlands and Islands, who were studying Psychology and her talk went down a storm. She inspired a whole new generation of psychologists to follow in her footsteps. Rebecca was such a kind, intelligent and generous human being. I hope the family take some solace from the legacy she has left behind by all she touched. My best wishes to you, Wendy Maltinsky
