HARDEY - Michael Peacefully but unexpectedly at home on 3rd August 2020. Michael Peter Charlton Hardey, aged 68, much loved brother of Nicky, brother-in-law of Thomas and Lorna, uncle to Ben, John, Paddy and Alison, and friend to many. Funeral arrangements are not yet known, and will be announced at a later date.

To Nicky, Thomas and Lorna, Ben, John, Paddy and Alison - and friends.
I am shocked and saddened to learn today (Sat 8 August 2020) of Mike's unexpected death; presumably not caused by the Covid-19 Virus.
I have known Mike - and the late Roger - and the late Margaret for many years.
I have happy memories of sailing with Mike on the Clyde, parties in the 'Northern, and trans-Atlantic excursions for the Pender wedding and Seawanhaka Cup in the early Eighties.
My sincere sympathy and condolences to all of you ...
If I cannot attend the Wake, I'll be there in spirit Chief!
