SMITH - David William It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of David, at Coathill Hospital, Coatbridge on 9th August, 2020. David was a devoted husband to Harriet, a beloved Dad to David and Valerie and a loving Gramps to Thomas, Kirsty, David, Ross, Jemma and Callum. As former Chairman of Airdrieonians, longtime volunteer at Citizen's Advice Bureau and local businessman, David devoted his life to the people and town of Airdrie. A wonderful man - he will be greatly missed. Due to current restrictions, the funeral will be for immediate family only. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at Coathill and all others who cared for David on his journey.
