FARQUHAR - Gordon Peacefully at Inverclyde Royal Hospital on Saturday 7th November 2020. Gordon, beloved husband of the late Jill for 62 years. A warm and caring father to Shirley, Michael and the late Fiona. A proud and loving grandfather and great-grandfather. Due to current restrictions, funeral numbers restricted.

We are so very sorry to hear of Gordon's death. May he rest in peace. He and dearJill were good friends, over many years, to Mum & Dad (Pat & Jim Power, formerly of Kilmacolm). Mum was upset when I told her about Gordon tonight, however she was very glad that she had spoken recently to Gordon on the phone. After Mum & Dad moved to Netherlee in 2005 they met up occasionally & even after Dad died in 2010, Gordon & Jill kept in touch with Mum & went out for lunch from time to time. Mum was fond of them both, they were lovely, sincere & genuinely good people. They all shared the grief of having lost a child , my brother David in 1988 & of course your own Fiona a few years later. Please accept our sympathy & prayers. Dorothy (Pat & Jim's daughter)
