CARVER - Betty (nee Jessie Stevenson) Passed away peacefully at Budhmor House, Portree, Isle of Skye, on 13th February, 2021, aged 97 years. Devoted wife of the late David Buchanan and the late John Carver. Loving and much loved mother of Nanette and Mhairi, sons-in-law Robert and Douglas, and doting Gran to her 4 grandchildren Douglas and Gregor, David and Kirstie, and great-granddaughter Annabel. Previously of Sandhead, near Stranraer and Paisley, but living on Skye for the last 22 years. Former teacher at Paisley Grammar, Stranraer Academy and the Douglas Ewart High School. Condolences to Nanette and Mhairi from Anne Jack (Howie). Janet told me about your mum’s death. She was always very kind to me and I have happy memories of playing with you two. I have uploaded a photo of Janet and me taken last year when on holiday at Loch Melfort.
