Joseph Dalrymple

DALRYMPLE - Joseph Of Clarkston, Glasgow, son of Joseph (snr) and Jean, passed away peacefully at The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital on 31st March 2021, aged 83. He will be greatly missed by his two brothers James and Robert; his nephews Craig, Quentin, and Mackenzie; and his adoring great-nieces and nephews Raina, Joni, Finn, and Tate. Joe was an amazingly kind, unbelievably helpful, and deeply thoughtful man who was always there to offer his wise guidance and unfaltering support to all his family and friends. Joe spent his whole working career as an electrical engineer with Scottish Power, starting when it was the publicly owned South of Scotland Electricity Board (SSEB), and retiring in 1999. He worked primarily on the high voltage transmission network as a 'protection engineer' and was highly regarded for his technical expertise, conscientious work ethic, and problem-solving abilities. Due to current social restrictions, there will be a small private funeral.
