HENRY Margaret Agnes (Meg) R.G.N., S.C.M., Q.N. Tom, Graeme, Robin, Janice, Sara and Innes wish to thank relatives, friends, neighbours and colleagues past and present for their visits, cards, flowers and other gifts which Meg received during her illness. We are sure the dozens of friends, etc. who sent cards of sympathy after Meg passed away and the hundreds who attended her funeral service will forgive us, but we could not reasonably name everyone, but would make mention of the members of Toward Church, Innellan Bowling and Tennis Club, Cowal Badminton Association, Phoenix Badminton Club, Dunoon, Castle Tennis Club, Dunoon, Innellan Tennis and Badminton Ladies, Dunoon and District Angling Club and Cowal Country Sports representatives for their tributes and cards. It is a source of great comfort to us at this sad time to see the high regard in which Meg was held by so many. We would also like to thank the professor, doctors and nurses at the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre, the Royal Alexandra Hospital, Paisley, the excellent Ardgowan Hospice, Greenock, Cowal Community Hospital, the kind and thoughtful staff at Cowal Hospice, our Macmillan Nurse, the district nurses, the doctors and staff at Church Street Surgery, Dunoon, and Kennedy's Pharmacy, all of whom provided so much support and made great efforts, if in vain, to ease Meg's pain. We would thank Rev. Aileen McFie for pastoral visits and Rev. Ruth Griffiths for a lovely and much acclaimed funeral service, the staff of Co-op Funeralcare, Dunoon, for their efficient and sympathetic arrangements and last but not least, the Osborne Hotel, Innellan, for their splendid catering arrangements. Retiring donations raised a generous £1298.30 for Cowal Hospice, which is much appreciated by us.
