McCRUDEN JAMES. The family of the late Rev. Father James Roderick McCruden (Fr Jim) and his friend Father James High would like to thank those who attended the Requiem Mass, sent Mass Cards and letters and showed such love for Fr Jim during his lifetime here and from that life now living his glorious life in Heaven. They would also like to thank the doctors and nurses in Callander, Montrose and Larbert Hospital for the care given to Fr Jim during his illness; to the staff of the Roman Camp, Callander; and the Northern Hotel, Brechin, a huge thank you for the wonderful refreshments following the Mass and the interment at Careston. To the funeral directors both in Montrose, Emslie S. Collier & Son, and in Callander, Andrew Anderson & Sons for the respectful care shown to Fr Jim. A special thank you to Bishop Stephen Robson and the priests of Dunkeld Diocese who concelebrated the Requiem Mass and gave great support to Fr Jim during his Priesthood and latterly during his illness. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions. Requiescat in pace.
