HANLON - James Caroline and the family would like to thank all relatives, neighbours and friends, including former Whyte & Mackay colleagues and members of Douglas Park Golf Club, for their kind messages of sympathy, cards and flowers following the sad loss of Jim. The donations to Parkinson's UK totalled £491, our thanks for that. Special thanks go to all the staff of Ward 8A at Gartnavel General Hospital for their unstinting care of Jim, and indeed of the whole family. Our thanks also go to Fr Mackle, Canon Bradburn and Deacon Tommy for a very uplifting service. We would also like to thank Tony and Carol and the staff of T. & R. O'Brien for their help and support with the funeral arrangements.
