ACQUISITION OF LAND (AUTHORISATION PROCEDURE) (SCOTLAND) ACT 1947 THE A77 TRUNK ROAD (CARLOCK WALL REPLACEMENT) COMPULSORY PURCHASE ORDER 2011
Notice is hereby given that the Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by the above mentioned Acts, on the 20th of June 2019 prepared a Compulsory Purchase Order entitled the "A77 Trunk Road (Carlock Wall Replacement) Compulsory Purchase Order 201[]".
The Order is about to be made and comes into operation only if made. If the Order is made, it will provide for the purchase of the land described in the schedule hereto for the purpose of replacing a wall required for the protection of a length of the A77 Glasgow to Stranraer Trunk Road between Ballantrae and Cairnryan, South Ayrshire. If the Order is made, a conveyance registered in implement of the Order may vary or extinguish rights to enforce real burdens and servitudes affecting the land. Copies of the Order and of the map referred to therein have been deposited at the following locations and may be seen there without payment of fee during normal business hours from 26th June until 17th July 2019:-Transport Scotland, 5th Floor Reception, Buchanan House, 58 Port Dundas Road, Glasgow G4 0HF and South Ayrshire Council, Country Buildings, Wellington Square, Ayr, KA7 1DR and at Ballantrae Post Office, 38B Main Street, Ballantrae, Girvan, KA26 0NB between the hours of 0800hrs and 1700hrs Monday to Saturday.
ANY PERSON may object to the making of the Order, by notice in writing to the Director of Roads, c/o Shannon Wilson at Transport Scotland, 4th Floor, Buchanan House, 58 Port Dundas Road, Glasgow, G4 0HF quoting reference SW/A77/CARLOCK WALL CPO/SW and stating the grounds of objection. Any objections must be received on or before 17th July 2019.
