The world's biggest boyband One Direction are putting on sale the most expensive SSE Hydro ticket to date when they bring their 2015 tour to the Glasgow venue.

The group have announced two dates in Glasgow as part of their On The Road Again tour. They will play the SSE Hydro on October 7 and 8 as well as other dates around the UK.

Tickets for the show range from £44.24 to £168. A Hydro spokesman confirmed this is the most expensive ticket to go on sale at the venue since it opened in September, 2013.

But the lucky fans who manage to get their hands on the expensive brief will be the closest to the stage, and their One Direction idols.

Previously, Fleetwood Mac had the most expensive tickets on sale at the venue with a ticket to their On With The Show tour next June costing up to £140.

Tickets for One Direction's shows at the Hydro are available to buy online only on Saturday, December 6 at 9am.

The group have just released brand new album Four which features new single Night Changes.
