PLANS to develop a work of art at Stirling Bridge are to be unveiled by the Guardians of Scotland Trust with the Stirling Smith Art Gallery.
The designs for the artwork, Brothers in Arms, will go on show to the public at the Stirling Smith Art Gallery and Museum on 16 June.
Artist Malcolm Robertson was awarded the design commission in 2016, which commemorates William Wallace and Andrew de Moray, as co-commanders at the site of their victory in 1297.
The Smith's exhibition, Brothers in Arms, will presents the artist's ideas for the first time to the public.
The design model for Brothers In Arms, shows the two men shoulder-to-shoulder, with their arms raising a Scottish flag.
The Guardians of Scotland Trust (GOST) was set up five years ago to increase awareness of the battle, which took place at Stirling Bridge in 1297.
A key aim of the Trust, it said, is to educate the public about the significance of Wallace's co-commander, de Moray, who died not long after the battle of wounds sustained in the fighting.

EIGHT contemporary artists will participate in the Glenfiddich Distillery’s International Artists in Residence programme this summer.
The artists will be hosted around the home of the Dufftown single malt, in a residency scheme now in its 17th year in Moray.
They will go on to show their art in three exhibitions in the distillery’s gallery.
The first will open on 27 July.
Five of this year’s artists have already arrived at Glenfiddich; Choi Saejin from South Korea, Gao Yu from China, Melissa M Button from the USA, Vanessa Maltese from Canada, and Rhona Jack, an emerging Scottish artist.
The work will include Melissa M Button’s three-dimensional paintings on oak veneer, inspired by some of the Distillery’s quarter casks, and a work by Ms Maltese featuring stone cobbles in concrete.
Chinese artist Gao Yu will work on a series of pop art paintings and Choi Saejin is to create a series of cocktail-inspired sculptural items in resin.
Watercolourist Biplab Sanka from India and sculptors Wang Te-Yu from Taiwan and Elyse de Valle from Melbourne, Australia are due to arrive at Glenfiddich later this month.
