Zuckerberg docked

REMEMBER the Cambridge Analytica scandal?

How could you possibly the chill that ran down your spine with the realisation social media was sucking up your personal information without your knowing, like a midgie taking blood from the back of your ankle.

Well, just in case the time of torment has slipped past, a new F. Off, is set to transport audience members to a courtroom where they play the jury, putting Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his social media colleagues ‘on trial’.

The play interrogates the extremes of social media, asking whether it is a force for good - or a platform which holds far too much power. “It is a pioneering piece, revealing the issues that the younger generation face in a digital age where we are witnessing the growth in surveillance capitalism and data swaps,” said a spokesperson.

The production is presented by the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain.
