Not quite as dramatic as that. The teepee studio at the Dell of Abernethy is set to host BBC's Winterwatch for the final time before the programme moves to a new home in the spring.

No more shots of a blue-lipped Michaela Strachan or Chris Packham wearing so many layers he looks like the Michelin Man?

Precisely. Winterwatch 2020 takes place from Tuesday to Friday this week on BBC Two.

What can we expect?

Red squirrels, pine martens, badgers, mountain hares and ptarmigan abound, hopefully. Pre-filmed clips include observing a super roost of redwing in a remote Lancashire forest and the spectacle of Brent Geese as they leave the Arctic tundra to spend winter in Dublin.

One touching segment follows a young woman as she embarks on "wild therapy" and attempts to fulfil her dream of seeing Orca in their natural habitat.

There will also be a glimpse of Britain's most northerly otters in the Shetland Islands, looking at how these incredible creatures cope through the seasons, capturing key moments as the young cubs have their first swimming lessons and go on hunting expeditions.
