Gaelic music promoters Ceòl’s Craic are staging an Americana night at the CCA, Glasgow on Saturday September 19 at 7.30pm. The programme features New Tradition (aka Iain ‘Costello’ MacIver and John Murray), who have been leading lights in the Gaelic/country music crossover scene for over 20 years, Glasgow indie stalwarts Monica Queen & Johnny Smillie, leading young Gaelic singer Darren MacLean and rock ‘n’ roll group The Vèloniños with Mull-born singer Alasdair Whyte.
