Anne Austin is completing her Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Journalism at the University of Strathclyde. Although Anne is a former politics and history undergraduate her journalistic interests also include sport, lifestyle and human rights including LGBT issues. Later this year Anne will be part of a volunteering project producing written material for schools on behalf of The Scottish Refugee Council.

Weightlifting: interview with competition manager Moira Lassen

She became interested in weightlifting when her daughter Jeanne became interested in the sport.
