ENGINEERING and project management firm Clark Eriksson has won a design contract for Dart Energy's coal bed methane project in Airth, Stirlingshire.
The deal, awarded following a competitive tender, secures employment for 15 people in Clark Eriksson's head office in Falkirk. The company hopes to win further work during the construction and commissioning phase of the alternative energy development.
Electricity is produced using natural gas recovered from within coal seams and Dart has already signed up to provide gas to SSE.
