ACOURA, the Edinburgh-based food industry risk services and compliance specialist, has acquired St Albans' Hygiene Audit Systems in a seven-figure deal.
The English-based consultancy, training and e-learning specialist, led by Lisa Ackerley, offers a wide range of environmental health services and food safety solutions. Its clients include John Lewis and Mitchells & Butlers.
Stuart Kelly, managing director of Acoura's Food Service and Hospitality division said: "HAS is a perfect fit for Acoura. Its services perfectly complement the work we are already doing and its experienced team is well respected by those working in the industry."
The HAS employees will be retained and join Acoura's 300-strong team.
