Diet Chef has secured £1.5 million of debt finance from LendingCrowd.
The Newbridge company, launched by Kevin Dorren and Andrew Veitch, is now the largest diet food home delivery company in the UK with around 150,000 customers.
Mr Dorren said the funding will be put towards growing the £15 million turnover business further.
LendingCrowd's Stuart Lunn, who co-founded the business with serial technology entrepreneur Bill Dobbie, said the size of the deal shows how the platform is now becoming a viable alternative to traditional lenders.
