CRAFT gin distiller Pickering's has launched a range of oak aged gins matured in single malt whisky casks.

The company, which is based at Summerhall Distillery in Edinburgh, said the casks had been hand-picked from distilleries in five of Scotland's distinct whisky regions: Islay, Speyside, the Lowlands, Islands and the Highlands.

Pickering’s, founded by Marcus Pickering and Matt Gammell, said it was the first time a gin distillery had launched a collection of five oak aged gins.

The gin is aged in one cask from each of the five regions at a time. Each cask yields 200 bottles of 47 per cent ABV oak aged gin.
