GLASGOW-based Pursuit Marketing has announced its creation of 75 jobs, citing a “surge” in demand for its services from the technology sector, writes Ian McConnell.

The telemarketing and digital marketing services business, which was founded six years ago, said about 30 of the new positions were English-speaking roles.

Pursuit Marketing, which currently employs more than 80 people, added that it was also seeking “bilingual and native speakers fluent in French, Spanish, Italian and key Nordic languages”.

The staff being recruited will work at Pursuit Marketing’s head office at Finnieston in Glasgow.

The company, which has focused on offering flexible working patterns for staff, said it was providing specialist telemarketing and digital marketing services to the “world’s largest IT and technology providers”.

Lorraine Gray, operations director at Pursuit Marketing, said: “We are extremely proud of our reputation within this market space, which has enabled us to expand significantly and create 75 new jobs. Our growth is a real testament to our highly motivated team and our commitment to achieving exceptional results.”

She added: “Over half of the jobs require bilingual skills, which is a great opportunity for modern languages graduates.”
