MADEBRAVE, the Glasgow digital creative agency, has revealed it is on track to record a best-ever turnover of £2 million this year, as it unveiled a major contract win with First Bus Scotland.

The agency, formed by entrepreneur Andrew Dobbie in 2011, said its growth in turnover from £1.5m last year has come as it has worked on campaigns for bands such as Bunnahabhain, Vango and GlenWyvis Distillery.

And it declared its appointment as sole creative partner for First Bus Scotland, part of transport giant FirstGroup, is one of its biggest deals ever. The contract will see MadeBrave handle advertising, brand and marketing activity for three operating companies across Scotland - Glasgow, Scotland East and Aberdeen. The first campaign, Kids go Free, starts this week.

First Bus joins a client list at MadeBrave which includes IBM, Vets Now, Jacobs, Peoples Ford and Scottish Equity Partners. The agency employs 30 staff at the Albus Building.

Mr Dobbie said: “We are excited to be working with the First Bus team and have some amazing campaigns planned. Overall, it’s been a great year for the agency, we’ve been winning business in Scotland, across the UK and starting to generate a lot of interest internationally too. We have grown every year, been profitable from our inception and our success is squarely down to our talented team and the standard of our work.”
