WHISKY firm Glenmorangie’s director of whisky creation, distilling and whisky stocks has become the first person in the history of International Spirits Challenge (ISC) to be named Distiller of the Year twice, having first received the honour in 2015.

Dr Bill Lumsden, the driving force behind the Glenmorangie and Ardbeg brands, was lauded by the ISC for his “innovation and exceptional craftsmanship”.

Meanwhile, The Glenlivet raised a dram to its own master distiller Alan Winchester who was the Lifetime Achievement Award at the International Spirits Challenge.
