The event, sponsored by Robertson, one of the largest independently owned construction, infrastructure and support services groups in the UK, is designed to show the range and scale of what cities have to offer investors, intermediaries and other leading decision-makers.

Jonathan Guthrie, director for strategic public partnerships at Robertson and speaker at the event, said: “Scotland has a successful track record for being a stable, long term investment location.

"This is still very much the case. By presenting strong, well developed opportunities to the market, there is no reason why investors will not continue to choose Scotland well into the future.

"We look forward to continuing our close, productive relationships across the country to develop and deliver these opportunities, creating local jobs and strong communities.”

He said: “Investment in cities is essential for the development of the economy and our communities. Working in hospitality, food and drink and education to residential, healthcare and commercial offices, Robertson works extensively with the Scottish Cities Alliance and its stakeholders and is committed to delivering excellence for our clients and partners.”
