Ghadia arrives at Stagecoach
DAME Jayne-Anne Ghadia, the former chief executive of Virgin Money, has joined the board of Stagecoach.
The high-profile financier, who was recognised in the New Year Honours list, has been appointed a non-executive director of the transport giant. The one-time senior executive of Royal Bank of Scotland left her role at Virgin recently following its merger with CYBG.
Stagecoach chairman Sir Brian Souter said: “Dame Jayne-Anne brings a wealth of experience and I look forward to working with her.”
Karen Thomson will step down from the board after its AGM on August 30.
