WATER FIRM Wave has signalled expansion in Scotland by taking on eight new staff and moving its base from central Edinburgh to larger premises at Ocean Point in Leith.

The company formed by Anglian Water and Northumbrian Water Group supplies over 175 public bodies across Scotland under the Scottish Government contract for water and wastewater billing services.

The firm has also announced that under the contract it has delivered more than £3m in annualised public sector savings, “significantly reducing the carbon footprint of these organisations”.
