Deadline looming for the S1jobs Recruitment Awards 2019.

Now in its eighth year, these dynamic, recruitment industry awards, organised by s1jobs, in association with FYTE and supported by Anderson Knight, Badenoch & Clark, Broadbean, Bullhorn, Contract Scotland, Demand Talent, Esure, Firefish Software, Gillespie People Solutions, Margaret Hodge Recruitment, Net Talent, Peace Recruitment and REED aim to continue to reward businesses of all sizes who are making their mark on the Scottish recruitment scene.

Alistair Shaw, Regional Director at FYTE said, “Nominating a team or an individual in your organization for an S1 Award couldn’t be more simple or rewarding.  Acquiring the best talent in the market is getting more and more difficult.  By celebrating your team’s achievements and showcasing their work, not only are you helping motivate and retain these great employees, but you will also get your organisation’s brand out in front of a huge audience helping you attract new talent in the future. Who doesn’t want to join an award winning team?”

Gillian Pate, Director at Anderson Knight said, “The HR Team of the Year award is a prestigious honour that nominees should be proud of. As the deadline draws closer all potential nominees should get their entries submitted to ensure they are part of this year’s awards”

David Stott, Vice President, Enterprise International at Bullhorn said "Bullhorn is excited to sponsor the Best Recruitment Website category at the S1jobs Awards. We are looking forward to seeing many impressive entries come in from across the industry."

Contract Scotland, Managing Director, Emma Marriott said, “The Year of the Young Person 2018 saw an increase of firms examine their recruitment strategies and invest in their young workforce. Recognising the efforts of developing graduate programmes and creating new apprenticeships is encouraged as the fight for talent continues and we’d urge firms to celebrate their efforts and showcase their status as a forward thinking employer who is nurturing fresh talent. Entering these awards sets you apart and demonstrates your commitment to a highly influential demographic who are the future of your business.”

Scott Miller, Badenoch + Clark Director commented, “A last call for applications for the Best Charity Employer Award – Are you a Charity or Not-for-Profit organisation trailblazing with your approach to engaging and developing your people? If so, we’d love to hear from you and showcase how you’re making a difference in the Sector.”

“The S1 awards are the leading celebration of businesses and people in Scotland and the “Best Employer Brand” award is a great opportunity to showcase why your organisation is the brand that people should aspire to be and work for.” Steven Jack, Managing Director, Margaret Hodge Recruitment.

Yvonne Moffat, CEO at Net Talent said, “The good news for businesses with a great story to tell is that the s1 Awards have extended the deadline for entries to the 22nd February. That means if you have a project you are proud of, a colleague you’d like to see recognised by the industry, then now is the right time to get your entry together. At Net Talent we’re proud to be a sponsor at an event that’s now an essential event in the recruitment calendar, and we look forward to seeing you on the night”

Craig Dunn, Business Director for Demand Talent also commented, “It is great that this year has received so much exposure that the deadline for entrants has been extended. This is a great opportunity for agencies to be recognised for their service to the industry. With so many different agencies currently thriving in Scotland, now more than ever is the magnifying glass on each one when it comes to candidates choosing which brand they want to be represented by and consultants choosing which brand they want to be a part of. This is a massive opportunity to showcase why you are different from the rest.”

You have until Friday, February 22 to ensure that your business is in the running to receive an award at the 2019 s1jobs Recruitment Awards that will take place on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, Glasgow.

With the deadline fast approaching next Friday we are encouraging all businesses across Scotland who have been successful, in creating innovative recruitment campaigns, have an inspiring graduate programme or a dedicated HR team to get in touch.

This year we have fourteen categories to choose from, highlighting success stories in employer engagement, digital creative, social media and employee development.

If you feel your organisation deserves recognition, make sure you do not miss this week’s deadline.
