Edinburgh Marina Holdings has appointed McLaughlin and Harvey as the main contractor for the first phase of the project "at the heart of Edinburgh’s waterfront".

McLaughlin and Harvey is the firm behind 122 Waterloo Street and the Clydeside Distillery, both in Glasgow

Phase one of the development comprises the new 373 berth Edinburgh Marina and the new 187 bedroom Hyatt Regency spa and conference hotel with 98 serviced apartments, the luxury Royal Wharf Living for Retirement residential scheme and three residential apartment blocks comprising a further 338 apartments.

Matthew Garstang, finance director at developer Edinburgh Marina Holdings, said: “We are extremely pleased to have appointed McLaughlin and Harvey as the main contractor for the first phase of the landmark Edinburgh Marina development."
