Bells Food Group is having its cake and eating it as it celebrates a new deal with Asda to stock four new loaf cake lines in Scottis
BELL Food Group has struck a deal with Asda to supply four new cake products to the supermarket’s Scottish stores.
The Shotts-based food maker will supply its new Scottish fudge, cherry, Madeira and sultana loaf cakes to 52 Asda stores in Scotland. The company, which noted that the retailer would be the first to stock the range, said the cakes will sell at the introductory price of £1.50.
James Drury of Bells said: “Our new range of Bells Scotland’s baker loaf cakes showcases the inseparable link and emotional affinity between Bells and the Scottish consumer.”
