CVS Group, the veterinary services provider, is to create 110 jobs at a new vet hospital in Livingston.

The listed company has been granted planning permission by West Lothian Council to build a veterinary referrals hospital, small animal practice and specialist pathology laboratory in the town.

The Livingston facility will be one of eight referral practices in the UK, providing such specialist treatment for the veterinary industry.

The 1.2 acre plot was purchased from industrial property developer and asset manager Chancerygate for £450,000.
