PRODUCTION has started from the giant Culzean gas field in the North Sea around 140 miles east of Aberdeen.
One of the biggest fields discovered in the North Sea in recent decades, Culzean is expected to account for around 5 per cent of the UK’s gas consumption.
French oil and gas giant Total developed the field with BP and JX Nippon of Japan.
