GLASGOW-based Elite Training and Consultancy has increased turnover by 50 per cent in its latest financial year, to £3.6 million from £2.4m.

The company said the growth to March 31 reflected its success in winning increased business from existing clients amid efforts to boost skills and productivity.

Managing director Stephen Docherty said: “Our main business is conducted with mid-to-large companies and organisations, which are more inclined to invest in training and tend to have cohesive learning development plans.”

He said the private and public sectors accounted for around 50% of turnover each.
