SCOTCH malt whisky cream liqueur Magnum has made a major push into Ontario, and is now available in more than 350 outlets across the Canadian province, including Toronto, Ottawa and Mississauga.

The liqueur, crafted and bottled in Edinburgh, will launch in South Africa later this year. It is currently only available in the UK and Canada. It launched in Canada in late 2018.

Magnum’s turnover has grown from a standing start in 2015 to £735,000 in 2018.

Edinburgh-based Hemisphere Brands, run by Lee Schofield and Steve Horne, is the global brand agent for Magnum. The pair aim to achieve a 10 per cent share of the 500,000-case cream liqueur market in Ontario and Quebec over the next three years.
