A LORRY park on the M74 has gone on sale with the agent looking for offers in excess of £3 million.
The Lockerbie Lorry Park at Hangingshaw near Johnstonebridge, between junctions 16 and 17, covers 12 acres and has 160 lorry parking bays with an additional area for trailer change-overs.
The facility has a 24-hour cafeteria, a shop, a function suite with licensed bar and office accommodation, shower and changing facilities and a laundrette.
It also has 17 letting rooms and seven residential properties of which two are leased on long-term lettings and five used as self-catering holiday accommodation.

Galbraith has been instructed to handle the sale on behalf of its client C & B Properties.
Harry Stott, of Galbraith, said: “Lockerbie Lorry Park has been in this location for 12 years and this sale represents a great commercial investment opportunity.
"It is strategically located on the M74 to provide a safe parking and rest area for HGV drivers travelling the length and breadth of the UK."

The site also also has a truck wash and filling station, which is currently let to Morgan Fuels.
Mr Stott added: "Given the full range of services on off under one roof, this property is well attended by lorry drivers seeking overnight parking, refreshments and accommodation to allow for early next morning departures and ensuring delivery deadlines.
"We expect a lot of interest in this sale from a variety of investment parties."
