THE search is under way to find this year’s finest family businesses.
Now in their eighth year, The Herald Scottish Family Business Awards, held in association with Business Gateway, will again celebrate the huge contribution family firms make to the economy.
This year there are 12 categories to enter, including two new awards designed to celebrate individuals who particularly stand out: the next generation and recognition awards.
The awards are supported by Business Gateway, Burness Paull, Clydesdale Bank, Campbell Dallas, Craig Corporate, TL Dallas, STAND, Supplier Development Programme and Strathclyde Business School.
Hugh Lightbody, chief officer at Business Gateway National Unit, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the work of your family business and show us how you’ve been making your mark in your chosen field. Family businesses play a key role in driving sustainable economic growth for Scotland.”
