A GLASGOW-based audio visual and lighting company, which operates across a range of business sectors, has growth in its sights after clinching finance deals worth hundreds of thousands of pounds.
SSUK, which provides businesses with services such as signage screens and video walls, has enhanced its capacity to win new customers from companies in the retail, sports and higher education sectors around the UK after securing a £500,000 invoice finance package from Santander UK.
The company, which has a technical team of nearly 50 staff, has also secured a commercial mortgage of £286,000 from the bank to purchase its premises in Hillington Industrial Estate.
It is expected that the funding boost will allow SSUK to create 10 jobs and expand turnover from last year’s £7.4m by 15 per cent.
SSUK has already seen its revenue grow by 55% between 2015 and 2017.

“We have been providing audio visual solutions for businesses across the UK for 20 years – but we see this as a step-change to increase our customer base, employ more staff locally and become the leading AV solutions provider in the country.”
