HANDPICKED Lodges has taken the size of its portfolio to 18 by adding a property in the Highland village of Kincraig.

The Aviemore business, which manages luxury lodges across Strathspey and was founded by businesswomen Tanja Hughes and Judith Thurlow in 2016, has taken on the refurbished Caberfeidh lodge in Kincraig. Both founders relocated to Cairngorms National Park from the city with their partners, with Ms Hughes moving from London in 2010 and Ms Thurlow coming from Edinburgh in 2011.

Handpicked Lodges works with local firms such as The Highland Kitchen, which provides cooking and dining experiences in the lodges.
