WILD venison supplier Highland Game has secured a £2 million boost to sales over the next 12 months through a new partnership with recipe-box company Gousto and increased supply deals with wholesalers Costco, Booker and Brakes.

Dundee-based Highland Game will in a UK-wide deal supply Gousto over a two-week period for Christmas venison and camembert burgers. Highland Game will also supply venison steaks the week before Christmas.

The Dundee firm, founded in 1997 by Danish entrepreneur Christian Nissen, said it would increase its supply of venison fillets, steaks, burgers and sausage to its UK wholesale partners.
