A Livingston-based document management and IT business has acquired a family firm in Paisley that specialises in scanning, digitising, archiving and securely shredding client documents and files.
Workflo Solutions said the acquisition of family-owned TRM was expected to add £300,000 to its turnover this year. Founded as a microfilm business in 1972 by the grandfather of current managing director, Steven McPherson, TRM digitises and archives documents in a way which helps its business customers become more environmentally responsible.
“TRM is a great fit for us,” said Michael Field, chief executive of Workflo Solutions.
Last year, Workflo Solutions also acquired a Livingston-based IT support business, Pyramid IT, as well as opening new facilities in Aberdeen and Saddleworth, Greater Manchester.
